Plan your group trip by chatting with Claude. It works in your Trip Done account: it creates the trip, fills in options and plans, and gives you the link to send your friends.
Set it up (2 minutes)
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
Name it Trip Done and paste this address:
https://trip-done.com/mcp
Click Connect, sign in to Trip Done with Google or an email code, and choose Allow.
Start a new chat and ask away. Claude's free plan includes one custom connector.
Things to ask
“Plan a long weekend in Joshua Tree for 6 friends in March and give me the invite link.”
“What's still undecided on our Tahoe trip, and who hasn't voted?”
“Add three cabins under $300 a night near Big Bear to our where-to-stay vote.”
“Put a sunrise hike on day 2 at 6am, and add 'cooler' and 'speaker' to the bring list. I'll bring the cooler.”
“Log $186 for groceries that I paid, split with everyone.”
What Claude can do
List your trips and read everything on one: votes, itinerary, who is bringing what, costs
Create trips and hand you the invite link for your group
Add options to vote on, and vote for you when you say how
Lock in a decision when you ask
Add itinerary plans, bring-list items, shared expenses and comments
You stay in control
Claude acts as you, with the same permissions you have in the app. It only sees trips you're on.
It votes or locks things in only when you ask. Everything it does shows up live in Trip Done for your group.
Disconnect any time from your Trip Done profile (Connected AI apps) or Claude's connector settings. See the privacy policy.
Other AI assistants
Any assistant that supports remote MCP connectors with sign-in can use the same address. In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode and add a custom connector with OAuth sign-in (some plans allow read-only use).
If something goes wrong
Sign in with Google or an email code. Guest sessions (joined from an invite link only) can't connect.
Each person can make up to 500 Trip Done changes a day through assistants.
