Trip Done is a free web app for planning group trips with friends and family. The organizer creates a trip and shares one link; friends join without an account, vote on dates, destination, lodging and activities, and the app locks in decisions, builds the itinerary, tracks who is bringing what, and splits costs.

- Yes. Trip Done is free for organizers and friends. Some booking links may earn a referral fee, which never changes your price.
- Do my friends need an account or an app?
- No. Friends join from the invite link with just their name, in any phone or laptop browser. They can add an email or Google later to use other devices.
- How does voting work?
- Each option gets love it, OK or pass from each person. The option with the most support wins. With a deadline, the leader locks in automatically; anyone on the trip can also lock a vote in early, unless the organizer limits that to themselves.
- Can we split costs?
- Yes. Log shared expenses, split them evenly or between some people, and see who owes whom with one-tap Venmo and PayPal links.
- Is there an AI trip planner?
- Yes. The built-in assistant asks a few quick questions and drafts a starter trip with dates, destination ideas, places to stay and activities, then adds options, votes, itinerary items and comments when you ask.
- What kinds of trips is it for?
- Weekend getaways, cabin trips, bachelor and bachelorette parties, ski trips, family reunions, reunions with college friends, and any trip where a group has to agree.
- Can I use Trip Done from Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant?
- Yes. Add the Trip Done connector (https://trip-done.com/mcp) in your assistant's connector settings and sign in. It can then create trips, add options and plans, vote and comment for you, and give you the invite link. Assistants without the connector can hand you a pre-filled link like https://trip-done.com/new?name=Tahoe+weekend&destination=Lake+Tahoe&start=2026-11-06 and you tap Create.
